The time allowance is the same for every butler who takes the test, which is what makes the benchmarking meaningful and fair. The good news is that most people finish well before the time is up, so take a breath and work through it steadily.

When the timer reaches zero, Butler Benchmarking will automatically submit your test, regardless of whether you have completed all questions. Your score is calculated across all questions, so any unanswered questions will affect your result. We strongly recommend keeping an eye on the timer as you go.

Yes, you may review and change your answers at any time before submitting, as long as the timer has not expired.

The test is accessible on desktop, tablet, and mobile. We recommend using a desktop or tablet for the best experience, particularly to ensure you can read questions clearly and navigate comfortably within the time limit.
